Blend Tool Alphabet

This design was made in Adobe Illustrator using the blend tool. My process was to first create the alphabet on paper using a pencil. I used a ruler to get consistent lines for my typesetting. I chose to digitize it using the pen tool. When it came to using the blend tool, I used small circles. Then, I very carefully scanned and modified each letter to give them a certain consistency of style. I wanted to achieve an electric feeling that didn't come across as too thick, stuffy, or cliche. In my opinion, my result resembles that of gummy worms. The black background is meant to illuminate the details of each letter.
